St. Paul MN Hotel Green Initiatives
The Holiday Inn St. Paul Downtown participates in the following recycling programs:
Project PlanetThe Conserving for Tomorrow™ program is an effort of the hotel to protect the environment through conservation of water and decreased use of detergent. When staying with us for more than one night, as part of the Conserving for Tomorrow™ program, we will launder your linens every three days. Additionally we invite our guests to help us conserve water by using your towels more than once. Not only do these practices decrease water and energy consumption but help reduce detergent wastewater that must be recycled within our community. Clean the WorldOur hotel is excited to participate in the program that recycles used soap and shampoo. Click here for additional information - Clean the World
Our hotel staff and our restaurant, the Liffey are participating in a recycling program in which we recycle paper, glass, plastic and aluminum.
All lighting in the hotel uses fluorescent light bulbs.
Additionally when renovating our rooms in 2011 we donated all old furniture, lamps, and artwork to Bridging Inc. The new furniture in our rooms is made from 100% recycled and recovered wood fiber.
